Few Words But A Lot of Meaning

I felt while reading Dickinson's poems, that a lot of them needed to be looked at multiple times. She uses so few words that it takes a moment to read one poem and the meaning can be easily missed. When looking at poem 225, I first missed its meaning completely.
But the beauty of Dickinson is that she makes every word count. In 12 lines, she conveys a sense of feminism.
The poem is comparing the life of a woman to the life of a wife.

I'm "wife" - I've finished that -
That other state -
I'm Czar - I'm "Woman" now -
It's safer so -

In this first stanza, it seems as if she's saying that there are two options. To be a woman or a wife. To be a woman means to appear as a Czar which could mean that she stands out in a negative away or that there is more power in being a woman.

How odd the Girl's life looks
Behind this soft Eclipse -
I think that Earth feels so
To folks in Heaven - now -

In the second stanza, it seems as if she is saying a girl's life is all drawn out for her. The girl's life is something to look at. The second half of the stanza, to me meant that those in Heaven are looking down and mapping out the lives of those on Earth. Once again, implying that a girl's life is set for her without her own choice.

This being comfort - then
That other kind - was pain -
But Why compare?
I'm "Wife"! Stop there!

There is irony in this last stanza because she says that it's a comfort to have your life mapped out because to make your own choices is pain. Then as she starts to think to much and compare to how her life could be she just decides that she's wife and that there's no need to think of anything else.
